A previous employer reached out and offered me a Senior Product Designer role with a 40% increase base salary. I am considering this, as I have been feeling under utilized at my current role + dealing with of uncertainty lately. But I would be forfeiting a lot of RSUs if I leave. I am in the middle of my vesting period (2/4 yrs), and this year alone would have 256 shares vesting (~$500 share price). The new role will come with shares, but at a small share price. I’ve had multiple interviews during the pandemic and have been honest about having a kindergartener at home and how we had to manage school at home. It was hard...and still is. And I feel like that has really hurt my chances at employment. Today CPS has announced school will be all remote this year—I feel really discouraged. Would it be wrong to just not mention my kids? Can anyone provide some guidance to taking the CFE? As in which membership option to choose from followed by when exactly can we take the exam, if the entire amount is reimbursed or not? Tips on studying for CFE?

For those of you who have taken the CFE exams recently what did you use to study? Likes and dislikes of whatever material you used? Any recommendations for someone who is about to start studying?

Is it just me or at EY Forensics everyone just blame any mistake on those below them. I sent something to a client with a mistake which my supervisor didn’t notice as well. When the client came back the supervisor just fully blamed me for it like they didn’t review the work themselves. I completely agree with taking responsibility for my mistakes but mistakes happen and there is no need to finger point like it’s not a team effort.

Advice on how to start CFE? I gotta become a member first, but then what? And approximately how long did it take to study for while working?
