Hey guys! I’m looking to shift careers. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 7 years now. Before that I’ve worked in an office, retail, banking, sales and was a correctional officer. I have a BA in criminal justice that I have yet to use. I really want an office job that pays well, but I’ve had no luck finding someone to hire me, actually even getting an interview most likely due to lack of experience. I’m open to options or if anyone knows a company that’s hiring that would be great!

I keep starting huge projects or hobbies and being intensely into it for about 10 days/2 weeks, after which I forget about it and the project just lays around my house for months until I get interested in it again or I toss it out/donate it. It was fine when I was living alone but my partner is seriously frustrated with how messy the house gets and how much I spend on supplies for these things. Just scored 700 on my GMAT and I feel like a bag of crap. For reference, I put in 300+hrs into my studying, which is overkill but the course I signed up for took this long.

BCG folks - my interview process was interrupted by the pandemic in the spring. Would you recommend reaching out to the recruiter to see if it is possible to restart the process now? Or are things still pretty frozen for experienced hires at the PL level?
