Anybody had an offer at a consulting firm rescinded bc they stretched the truth in a job interview/resume?

Trying to transfer audit to fdd as a senior. How long can I expect workday application to remain ‘under review’? Waiting to hear back after HR screen on next steps. Thanks !

Why is it some companies make you reapply to a role when you’re towards the end of the interview process?

This is a recent incident happened to me, was interviewed for tcs, salary discussion happened on 12th March and was told to wait for final approval and was told that offer letter would be rolled out in 2 weeks. Hr did not negotiate on the CTC either. After waiting for a month i tried reaching HR they did not respond. After multiple emails they simply say that they cannot move forward due to high deviations. Guys is this normal in TCS that even after final CTC discussions ,candidates get rejectd.

Does anyone else balk a little bit when applying for jobs and the recruiter or job description mentions a lot of blog writing and other content like that?

I’m interviewing for a Manager role at PayPal in the product management department and wondering how much of a salary I should ask. I am a woman and POC so I don’t want to fall into the trap of asking for/getting paid less than I’m worth. All insights welcome!!

I quit my previous job approximately 5-6 months ago due to toxic culture and being pressured to commit fraud… I fear hiring managers see that I’ve been out of work for this time and may assume I was fired or laid off. I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

Really wish I would have pushed constructive criticism onto my boyfriend when he showed me his resume 😬 He is extremely smart and great at his job and I think he’ll interview very well, but he’s using a non-standard format that isn’t super 15-second-review friendly.
