Really wish I would have pushed constructive criticism onto my boyfriend when he showed me his resume 😬 He is extremely smart and great at his job and I think he’ll interview very well, but he’s using a non-standard format that isn’t super 15-second-review friendly. Before I could gather the courage to tell him it sucks, he already mass applied everywhere. He’s already in a bad headspace, and I’m concerned not hearing back is just gonna make it worse ☹️

Hello there. I have been interviewing with Okta and got through all 5 rounds of interviews. They say they want to offer me the job but there is a global freeze for all marketing roles at the company. I once called someone in the 'C' suite out for being completely disorganized. I followed it up by offering project management advice. The conversation got pretty heated. I still have my job and we seem to have moved past it but I wonder if that interaction will have a negative consequence down the road. I don't regret it and would do it again, just maybe a little more tactfully but I was looking out for my operation and one of the managers that reports to me.

Management at my company are less concerned about helping us finish our projects and more concerned about what time we came in this morning.

I was about to talk trash about my truck driving friends and blame them for my heatwave related problems.
