Yea…benefits would be mostly same as rest of the firm. You just have a comp premium.

Parental leave is 8 weeks off plus 4 weeks working 60% capacity (at full pay) for all parents, plus additional short term disability if you physically give birth.

SM1 probably meant say women for the people who “physically give birth”. Giving birth is such an accomplishment for some women, not acknowledging that is disappointing

Pto is 15 days a year at first but jumps to 22 after two yrs or when you make manager. Parental leave is 8 wks for fathers, 4 months for moms if you include std. 401k match is only a quarter match if your contribution up to 6% but we also have a program where the firm contributes X% of your salary to a separate account, varies by level but 4-6%. 5 yr vesting though. Any other Q?

This is super helpful, thanks! Any fitness related perks? I.e., at Deloitte we had a certain amount we could spend on gym memberships/equipment/greens fees every year

We have gym pass.

Hello I am a current nutrition masters student that will be finished with my degree this July and am trying to get involved with healthcare/ tech consulting. I have done 4 years of research in various fields and have readily available skills. I have also worked in a private practice, volunteered my time for EMS, and worked in a hospital so I know healthcare from a different perspective. If anyone can refer me to a consulting job or to a recruiter that would be greatly appreciated!

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.

Hi! I just got converted to full time as a intern, and received this email about 401k which I don’t quite understand. Does the 3% means the match that company gives to me for free? So I don’t have to contribute anything to my 401k while getting free 3% match money? Thank you!!

Plaintiffs counsel took my clients deposition today. He mentioned that he would likely be ordering the transcripts and I suggested we split the cost of them (in front of court reporter). He got pretty defensive and said absolutely not, it’s unfair to the court reporter, and that it is frowned upon in the industry to do that. Each party orders (and pays for) their own copy. I’m in my 2nd year of practice, never heard such a thing. I’ve actually split the cost before! Curious for insight on this…
