How to tackle gap periods in IT interviews?

I don’t see too many Marketing Manager specific requests here so thought I’d take a crack. Any advice or interview prep insight for marketing roles. Specifically for Amazon Music. I made it to the first chat with a HM. Any guidance on possible questions would be awesome.

I have a phone screen interview with AWS for the position of Systems Engineer with the Linux team early next week. I’ve been a Sys Admin for the last 4 years, and I’m not very well-versed with coding. The phone screen does have whiteboard coding, any tips on what I could do to prepare for this? Have an offer from AWS for an L7 Principal PMT role: $215k base + $275k sign on bonus for Year 1 and $215k for year 2 + 5100 RSUs (@ $130 / share). This is the initial offer; where is there room for negotiation? Base or Sign on Bonus or RSUs? I realize it's a good offer, but I'm looking for: $225k base + existing sign on + 5500 RSUs. Has anyone left big 4 or other PA firms tax transaction service groups for industry (or know of anyone)? What was the role and salary bump, how are annual bonuses/raises in industry, what is a typical work week (hours) like? I don’t think I can take this always on just to stay afloat life much longer. For context I am considered a high performer, am near the top of the salary band at my level and have a great supporting network at Deloitte. It’s just not worth it to have zero personal life.

Any significant differences in comp between the Big 4 FDD groups (specifically at senior level)? I’m hearing PWC pays the highest bonuses but not sure if there is any truth to that.

I’ve spent more time digging through TB/GL lines in FDD (over year experience) than I did in audit…. This is glorified audit

EY TARAS or EY GCR??? Between these 2 service lines which has better pay and opportunities??

Is it worth considering a career in Restructuring Consulting in the long term given that their work can be quite cyclical and hinges on the spectrum of the economy.

Is it just me or does it seem like everyone in FDD is in for the long long haul? I remember in audit everyone would talk about quitting or how they're only going to do audit for a few years to get experience and then leave. I'm not really seeing the same in TS. Just my observation.
