Anyone else trying to point max summer lunches? I just booked a lunch that will get me 5x amex pts (rakuten), 8x chase points (3% dining + 5% special offer), $150 (chase table credit) AND billable credit (invited my associate mentee so I can bill it as mentorship)

The only downside is the actual food isnt very good but w/e.

We also get billable credit for all summer lunches which is pretty sick

Respect. I don't have the mental bandwith the keep track of my card perks, let alone take summers to lunch lol

Dude im getting like $30 so its DEFINITELY worth my time and energy 😅

Times are tough but im not this hard up

I’ve lived in dem skreets tho, respect the game

How do you get Amex and Chase points? Are you paying twice?

Rakuten. You pay with your chase, chase card is linked to Rakuten. You can redeem Amex points from rakuten

like

Every $1000 lunch/dinner I take these summers on, that’s 4,000 points straight into my Amex Gold that I intend to use for a very nice vacation next year.

Hey sharks!

I have prior experience of React+AWS (2yrs)
Then joined an org where I was bound to work on plain js and outdated libs (1 yr)
I gave numerous interviews.
Common feedback : You're very strong in Js but seems like you're not day to day coding in React (which is absolutely true).
In current org work pressure is quite much, tough to practice seperately. (Theoretical knowledge of react is good, but need practical knowledge)
Requested my org to assign me react proj, they didnt.
Plz help!

I’m currently a third year in my small firm’s life sciences team. I’m not really stimulated by the work and although they say they have a lot of work, they’re not good at managing workload. I haven’t had much work on my plate even after asking many times for more than six months. I’m ready to move to a larger law firm. However, I am concerned how I’ll manage the workload as a mom to a toddler. The good thing about my firm is that they’re flexible with hours. Anyone have experience balancing?
