Hello everyone I have 29 years as a dental professional in Texas. I started as a dental assistant back in 1993. As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough! Any input would be appreciated.

So I was a 5th year associate in nyc making 100 k a year 2k billable hours.. Thoughts on Wealth Management as an industry? Offered a role to work under a senior FA and eventually take over the book (~$800M AUM and growing). It sounds great, but I am worried about the disruption this industry is facing with Robo advisors and other low cost, DIY options. Has anyone here switched from a big 4 to a smaller firm? What was your reason for switching and do you have any regrets?

On some days I feel like I haven’t been productive all day. Something at home needs my attention or I feel distracted by absolutely anything and not a lot gets done
What do you do on days like this?

Had a glowing fantastic performance review last year. This year no review, just a meeting with managing partner and HR to tell me I am fired and to leave now. No bad performance. Is it just the money?
