Yes! No issues, can google for reviews
Ohhh! haha then in this case, definitely do NOT associate your rewards account. This method is frowned upon for sure. Though if it is the first time, you might get away with it if you claim the points after you fly since you can claim each leg separately.
Ok thanks! It's def worth giving up miles to save $50 on a $120 flight
Don't book a round trip
Thanks SC1. Should I worry about associating my rewards account with the ticket?
With airlines, it's super easy to do that after booking. I've done it plenty of times, just have to call after booking the flight and they will add your reward number. It's not as stringent as hotels well you're basically SOL if you book outside of their sites
No no... my question was will they take it out against me if they know I did that .. and should I be safe and keep it off my rewards account
I've done it while still keeping my skymiles number on it... no issues
If I only do it once I'm sure they cannot say anything. D1 you earned the miles too??
I did and I've done it a handful of times this year and no issues...
Thx!!
Still just a handful of flights only compared with the 150k miles I fly Delta most years
A1 of course I wouldn't do that 😒😒
OP- the reason for that is if you kiss an earlier leg, they cancel your return flight. I had that issue in HS😒 I was going to a wedding, and a mandatory event come up at school, the cost to change my flight was going to be WAY more than just buying a new outbound ticket, then when I showed up at the airport with my parents to go home they wouldn't let me board! We had to buy another ticket.
