Anyone experience a significant reduction in responsibilities and role after informing your manager/employer you’re pregnant? I told my manager in Jan, then starting late Feb things that fall under my domain have been getting assigned to other people. Lastly a new org operations chart just went out showing me in a role one level below what I’ve been working in for the last 1.5 years. I’m still waiting for leadership to clarify and hoping it was an oversight, but it’s all taking a toll on me.

I was hired within the last year as a site supervisor. I did well my first few projects with the company. They asked if I’d be interested in transitioning into a construction manager role. I agreed. Now I still am the site supervisor on projects but I’m also doing all the construction manger duties on the project as well. Essentially 2 jobs for one salary. Y’all I just need to vent real quick as my husband is gone for the week several time zones away and I’m alone. This late second trimester heartburn is unreal! I’ve never really had heartburn before but holy shit! I find myself pacing and feeling sick to my stomach because of it, unable to focus on anything else, and then I’m drained because all my energy is spent focusing on just this pain. I’m around 21 weeks and have been dealing with a lot of leg, tailbone, back, and general muscle pain. Since I do work long hours Monday- Wednesday (10hr +) I’m trying find a comfortable chair to switch to. Any recommendations? Currently I’m switching every hour or so between my kneeling chair and standing.

TMI… 7 weeks and have been struggling with constipation (also 2 months post egg retrieval = lots of hormones). Have tried stool softeners, laxatives, Metamucil… now it is literally just tiny bits of mucus coming out, no normal BM. Has been 10 days since I took a laxative. Has this happened to you? What kind of doctor do I even call or what can I do?

With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. I’ve worked really hard and I’m worried our wonderful news will throw chances with this :(- also if I don’t get promoted pretty sure it’s up or out. Any advice?

Has anyone gone into 5th month of pregnancy with the baby growing under the belly button? Looks more like a fatty pouch than a baby. Everyone else already has bumps starting from right under the boobs.
