I worked at Gympass for the past year in sales. Great product and easier to sell to the ICP than other companies I've worked at.
Some downsides is that the commission structure is kind of low, processes are constantly changing -and if you're going for the AE route, pricing structure and quota changes are always occurring and quotas seem unattainable at times.
No proper training/onboarding either, but co-workers are supportive and helpful. Decisions from upper management are constantly affecting the reps day-to-day, causing a lack of confidence in quotas being attained even if they're brought down by a few percentages for the month/quarter. There are a lot of false promises within the company, disorganization, lack of communication from upper management, and broken/unsustainable processes then essentially being told to make something work from it because it's apart of your job anyway. There's a lot of overwhelm across most departments at least in the U.S. It seems like most of the morale boost from the company are from those in Brazil.
Gympass could be good for people looking to start out their career in sales, but I wouldn't suggest growing your career here or staying long-term. Most people have an average tenure of 2-3 years. If you receive an offer letter and decide to move forward with a position, be sure to keep everything you read in mind and always stand by it after onboarding.
Best of luck.
