Rising Star
I’d choose Swiss over Lufthansa in Business. First is probably a wash.
…how about regular old economy? 😆
Always Lufthansa. Particularly if you can go first through Frankfurt. The private terminal is extremely pleasant.
I fly Swiss 90% of the time as I live in Zürich. Great airline.
No problem!
I guess I should have specified this would be in regular economy 😂. No status so no upgrades. I don’t travel for my project so I don’t have points racked up.
Should have also asked what the better airport is. I would have ~5 hour layover.
I try to avoid it long haul bc my star alliance silver doesnt get me a seat similar to economy plus. Years ago I got bumped to 1st class and it was as good as any European carrier there. But long haul economy sucks.
Both are great and you will not go wrong with either. Safe travels!!!!
On time?
Zurich airport is stunning and excellent food options. Frankfurt also good but it’s very “blah” imo compared to Zurich
Long-haul, Emirates, Qatar are best.
I have only flown business and first class and have had nothing but great experiences. Looks like your mileage did vary.

Swiss is owned by Lufthansa. Zürich airport is much better to connect in than Frankfurt which is only second to Charles De Gaulle in terms of being a pain to connect in.
Live In NY so I do connect there, I’d still do my Terminal 1 Marathon over the mess that is LHR, AMS, CDG or even MUC
Tagging onto this. I’ve got a 24 hr layover in Zurich flying SWISS air in Dec. any recs for Zurich?
