Hello Guys,
I Got one Offer from Fynd but that is too low for me and as per my expereince
They are giving me 9 LPA bcz I quoted that amount when I applied for it long back. at that time I didnt know more about how salary and all calculated and whats the market research
Now after clearing all the rounds when we meet for salary discussion i told him my real desired salary as per experience and market reseach
He told me that I quoted 9 LPA so we can not do more "unless you have any counter offer"
Who here have abs 😬

I’m a CW at Meta. From my understanding, you have to do the full loop to convert, and conversion is not guaranteed at the end of two years.
No, two years is the longest it can be if you are in the US. One year for Canada.
I'm a CW at Meta. People do convert, but as stated in this thread, you go through the full loop to convert. One of my fellow CWs is planning to try the full loop at the 6-month mark.
Two years is the longest you can contract for one client in the US before a 6 month cooling off period is required.
I'm happy with the freedom I currently have as a contractor. I will try to get renewed for the second year (looking very likely as we are extremely short staffed for my role) as long as my product doesn't get killed. I think I will move on after the second year. I really love the people I work with, but not the excessive administrative oversight.
Crystal told me it’s a full time role with crystal and my client will be Meta. After hearing your insights, I don’t even think it’s worth it anymore. I mean I would love to work for Meta but not like this then.
Ah! I see.
Thanks for the insights! I guess people have different priorities and choice. I prefer to stay in a company for a long time.
I heard about another Meta contractor who's spent the last 20 years contracting for different companies. I don't think I would do that, but my goal is to work for a variety of well-known companies of different sizes and industries and then use that name power to launch myself into freelance work where I can pick the clients and projects, live in different countries, and take a month off here and there between projects to travel or publish.
That, and I'm about 13 years away from retirement, so changing companies every few years helps boost my comp. I was a student for 25 years and then unpaid or underpaid for the next decade, so building my savings fast is a priority.
It’s typically 1 year and they might renew for 6 months or an additional year if there is still a need for your position
