Mental Health, inherited or choice? I am finding myself struggling with processing that ADD, Depression, or Bipolar is a chemical imbalance in the brain vs. behavioral therapy. The best analogy given to me is you would treat diabetics with insulin so why not consider prescriptions to help mental health. 2020 has thrown more at me than I’m able to handle. Has anyone here noticed a significant improvement after a prescription to help psych issues?

Stupid Question- We have been thinking for IVF and trying to understand with this process, is there any difference in the health and life of the child as compared to a child born without IVF. I did ask this with our doctor and he said casually its all same. This is not to question any doctor but just to really understand what is going to be different with the kid. Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners. Other than partner track, salary/benefits, and switching from coverage to general comm lit, what qualities of the move should I be thinking about as I weigh my options? I've never worked at another firm.

The role is of data governance manager. What should I know for the interview, or how can I prepare for it? Any thoughts? They told me I don’t need financial background. Data is data, but they wanted to know metadata management and how do I build frameworks/implement enterprise systems.

I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.
