I coach a competitive sport I am passionate about and make an extra grand a month for twice a week
I tend bar 1 night a week, but that's just for fun and to meet people. (Though, I can clear $500 on a busy night!)
I bartend on Saturday and Sunday and make an extra $1K a week that I am using to invest in real estate
I really want to know why anyone would want/need two jobs on a consulting salary
Try teaching a nightly course or making a downloadable learning video or something if you’re in a technical role and can use a tool really well. It’s an extra 2k a month for me.
I donate plasma because my 1.5% YOY raise has been exceeded by inflation.
How much money do you make that way? I’m trying to look into it. Not necessarily for the money but if it comes with money then why not
Brad really needs to see this and restructure compensation
I teach people Excel, Ruby or Salesforce for 70/hr
How do you advertise these services?
Y’all, let’s START a restaurant
Are we legally allowed to as well?
Of course
I worked at a restaurant on weekends for my first few years as an analyst. Loved it, but eventually it got to be too much. I miss it sometimes, it was fun and I liked connecting with people (and the cash to throw at my student loans didn’t hurt)
Damn we don’t pay that poorly
2% hike on promotion 😏
I'd start a side business rather than work at a restaurant. Restaurants/bars are super fun to work at but you'll spend a good chunk of the money you earn going out with coworkers when your shift ends.
I’m making 30-40k more than my friends right out of college (May2019 Grad), I don’t see any reason why someone in consulting would need a side gig for cash lol
I do churning.
Work with a guy who runs his own BBQ joint on a weekend
