What do you do for winter shoes and commuting?

I walk a total ~20 mins in between train/bus stations and then getting from the stop in the loop to the office.

My previous manager would track us by hours daily, made a fuss everytime anything stretched and guilt us for that and the unplanned leave too unless it was COVID. Hinted him a lot of time, this is problematic but apparently he considered it "standard practice for agile".

I’m in this business to cure my inferiority complex. Making lots of money, working with fortune 500 clients and walking the streets of NYC with a suit, tie and briefcase makes me feel important and worthy.

I get tax brackets but in the UK making 30K you pay ~£6K tax and when you make around 5x more at £150k you pay 10x more tax ~£60k. What things can you do to lower your tax in consulting? (I’m not at 150 yet but most of us will get there hopefully if we stay in this role)

Curious to know how much your student loans were when you graduated from your program, how much you’ve paid off so far, and your age. With all of these changes and teaching live 3 or 4 times a day how are teachers supposed to have time to assess students? Most of the assessing is done one on one
