I am 25 years old. Worked as a Tax consultant in International tax for a year. Later shifted to VAT and worked there for another year. Now I am thinking to join M&A. While one side I am glad that I am trying something new and having a diverse experience but again I feel I am becoming Jack of all and Master of None. Any advice is appreciated

I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

Hello all, I’m planning for a career switch. As I’m currently in Finance sector and planning to quit my job and to start my career in IT Hardware companies like: HP, Dell and Lenovo etc.. Before taking this jump I want to know how is the career growth in IT Hardware, how is the promotion structure in such companies. I personally don’t like my present job as it doesn’t relate any part of my interest.

I currently work at a medium sized firm and have about two years experience in personal injury litigation. The billable hours and lack of work life balance are really getting to me and I am looking to switch to something else out of litigation, preferably in house. I have an informational interview with a Managing Director on Friday about a manager role. I currently serve in a client services role and do not have traditional consulting experience (billable hours, etc.). Additionally, while I’ve worked with McKinsey, Accenture, McKesson, and other teams on major projects, I don’t have experience putting together the strategy, more of a support function. Have interviews with a couple of MBB firms in the next two weeks for generalist positions; currently a new analyst at Deloitte. Would Case and Point be the best use of my time to prep for cases, if I’ve never seriously done cases before? My Deloitte interviews were all high level tech and my computer science major was more than sufficient to complete these.
