They’re onto me...

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

They aren’t the only person in work wearing a mask for extended hours- medical professionals, teachers, students, retail workers, just to name a few. Sucks that the boss won’t let them work from home, but honestly, you should be able to breathe so maybe they aren’t wearing their mask properly? If they have medical issues where they can’t breathe right with a mask then they should talk to their doctor and maybe a doctors note will help?
We don’t even know what specifically the friend does- working in an office can mean a lot of different things.
Could probably ask his doctor how he handles it. My doctors office has al their employees wear masks all day.
oh sounds like a startup CEO I know ... he thinks Work From Home is more meaningful and people will get more done... but it's just a way to micromanage people ..
I am truly sorry your friend has to deal with that. I think they could try to get a medical note on the migraine / pain and see if that improves because then if anything was to happen medically the company can get sued.
but that could put them on the list to get fired. I am no lawyer but I suggest asking a lawyer
This post screams privilege 😂My dad works in construction - an intense, physically demanding job - and has had to wear a mask for 10+ hours in various weather conditions throughout this entire pandemic - so have nurses, doctors, hospital workers in general, grocery store workers, retail stores workers, waiters/waitresses,road workers, the list goes on, if millions of people can figure out how to wear a mask to work for 8+ hours, surely your friend can as well especially if he really needs the job.
I work 12hrs a day 3 days a week where I wear a mask the entire time. Yet I wont scoff at someone who cannot. We have to keep in mind people have breathing issues and medical issues that makes wearing a mask difficult. Tell that person to try a different type of mask that is breathable
