I work in Nj at a pharmaceutical company and have been there for the past 4 years supporting a VP and currently at 77k a year and it’s not enough. Going to start interviewing elsewhere and want to get an idea of what starting salaries you all are at and what I should ask for. Any advice ?

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. Is just a hiring manager int. so obvi nothing guaranteed. Salary if offered will be more than 150k. My question is should I accept the interview and see where it goes? Is it really worth it to proceed with a company like Amazon for 25k+. I live in CA so $ is imp but I do have a toddler so WLB is also imp. Both role are Sr. MGR.

Anyone else having trouble focusing today? Every time I have a long break and come back to the office I’m reminded how much I don’t like my current job. 22 years old and currently focused on using my left over income to invest and pay off my debt. Help,I started a new career n the events industry and I think I have to quit! The person I report to is so disorganized and there are no other managers in the office to direct day to day operations of our department. On day 2 I was asked to go to a job site and perform a 12 hour day without any training, safety equipment or tools. On day 3 I was asked back to site to do general labor! I ended cutting my hand on an exacto knife and there was no first aid! Is this normal?

I only bring in a little over $2,600 a month. After paying all my expenses, I get to put away $500 a month in savings but don’t have much wiggle room for anything else, including going out money.
