Ive recently completed my MBA from a good institute and am currently a CFA L2 candidate. I have approx 2.5 yrs of workex and am interested in roles like FP&A, Financial Modelling, portfolio/risk management, valuations, or fixed income. Would appreciate a referral for an IB or Management Consultancy.

Busy season never seems to end. Question, am I burned out or is this normal? I was very stressed during busy season until now. I sort of feel a calm sense of not caring anymore. We have extended our busy season until 5/15, but I really just don’t feel like I care...

Here’s some free advice from a global mobility expert: if an accounting or consulting firm offers you assignment in another country for greater than 1 year, and won’t tax equalize you for all employment related compensation. Say no. That’s the bare minimum.

Looking through big 4 transparency salaries… does Baker Tilly just have awful pay for tax or is it just too small of a sample? Why do they pay 10-25% lower than all other firms?

I'm TC2 at Deloitte w. 2 YOE and MAcc. Working on CPA exam. Some of my team peers moved to Capital One as Senior Business Analyst and it seemed good to me too. Recently I was contact by Cap One. The recruiter asked me if I'm interested in- Analyst/ Associate/ Risk Manager roles at Commercial bank (related to real estate or credit). Those roles require 1-3 YOE, but not Master's or CPA. Does anyone know if above positions are as competitive as SBA?
