Locally known more for IT than deals; the big 4 and BDO tend to be in that space.
I moved from Big 4 to ACN sometime in the last three years and the 45% pay rise I got would've required me to hit almost 3 promotions if I'd stayed at the said Big 4.
And the leadership that I interact with (L3-L2 MDs) love that I can engage with them on a strategic/conceptual level than getting bogged in the weeds (for which I thank my Big 4 experience).
If you put a dollar value on lack of stress, artificial deadlines, not having to deal with megalomaniac Partners who think *they are the firm* ACN total compensation blows the Big 4 out of the water.
Have worked at ACN and Big 4 - I think ACN often pays a bit more at the lower levels and from my anecdotal experience bonuses can be better. My ACN Analyst-Senior analyst bonus was like 3.5x my B4 Senior con bonus. Granted I was a very high performer but still - I was also a high performer at new firm.
Big 4 pays less than Accenture. Big 4 pays less than everyone.
Senior analysts at my boutique earns the same as a senior manager at big 4.

Any idea what Brisbane ACN salary is for senior consultant / associate manager level ?
I believe minimum base for consultants was 100k back in 2021 so id guess around 115-120+ nowadays for senior consultant/AM
