Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

It’s alright in Australia, mbs/agsm are the ones to go for
Australia for the most part has a strange bias against MBAs. Doesn't really help much outside of MBB, boutiques, and some IB.
In saying that, AGSM/MBS have a large alumni network and you'll find that the alumni tends to be more appreciative of new MBA grads than the general market.
Not valued I guess. I don’t see a pay difference between MBA vs Non-MBA at same level in Big4. Can’t comment about MBB.
Whats the career plan?
Thanks for the information.
So I have worked with few clients having presence in Australia but general idea is to work few years in Consulting to gain 'Local experience' and built some capital/assets.
If MBB happens, that will be best otherwise I can always fall back to TechConsulting. If you ask specifically there is no Calling, lower Middle class blokes can fit anywhere ;)
Under TechConsulting option, few years down the lane, I plan to start my own small shop with help of talented folks in India.
For other options nothing specific in mind.
If interested you can DM me and can speak. For your info, I am an Indian entrepreneur, did MBA in USA and came to Australia last year.
