Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @

It’s alright in Australia, mbs/agsm are the ones to go for
Australia for the most part has a strange bias against MBAs. Doesn't really help much outside of MBB, boutiques, and some IB.
In saying that, AGSM/MBS have a large alumni network and you'll find that the alumni tends to be more appreciative of new MBA grads than the general market.
Not valued I guess. I don’t see a pay difference between MBA vs Non-MBA at same level in Big4. Can’t comment about MBB.

So I have worked with few clients having presence in Australia but general idea is to work few years in Consulting to gain 'Local experience' and built some capital/assets.
If MBB happens, that will be best otherwise I can always fall back to TechConsulting. If you ask specifically there is no Calling, lower Middle class blokes can fit anywhere ;)
Under TechConsulting option, few years down the lane, I plan to start my own small shop with help of talented folks in India.
For other options nothing specific in mind.
