Why does this outfit sound like an unholy mashup of McDonalds and Master Card?
I would avoid McMaster like the plague, it’s a sweat shop of bullshit middle management. What are you doing at cap?
Yes. Don’t do it.
I've heard it's pretty bad culture there and working environment. Check Glassdoor reviews. I had a recruiter reach out to me so I took an interview last yr but didn't get passed to the next round.
Only by reputation. They grind people hard and have lots of internal politics that accompany family-ownership. Try to find a few formers in your LinkedIn network and buy them lunch
Incredible benefits, but have been told be people working there (management program) to not expect to get the use them. It’s not a career as much as it is a one to two year stint before being fired arbitrarily...
If I took the offer, I would probably plan to stay 1-2 years and take advantage of tuition reimbursement to get a masters in data science. Then move to a premiere IT consulting firm at a higher grade. Does this seem like a good idea or feasible to accomplish?
Why can't you move to a tech consultancy already?
I'd check to make sure you'll get the necessary exp. there regardless of the tuition reimbursement
I’m already in tech consulting. Would probably try to jump to a prestigious boutique firm like ZS or Slalom. I’m with capgemini right now
