In an auto accident trial, can you inform the jury in any way that the at-fault driver had insurance? I have a hard time believing a jury would award 7-figure damages if they thought the little old lady defendant had to personally pay. I see a lot of conflation between state level and federal level policy in this bowl. I implore you, if you are interested in politics or improving the United States through public policy, that you first read up on our history, understand not just the constitution but the reasoning behind it (most of it is articulated in the federalist papers), and to travel outside of our mostly privileged city/suburb life to talk to the people who build our roads, process our cattle, drill our oil/gas, etc.
