Anyone have two w2 jobs in the same time zone, same type of work? Starting one and have another offer. The first one is is brand new environment, second is familiar and will be super chill. Wondering if I can keep both and how that’s worked out for you.

I technically have 2 in the same time zone, and it has worked well for me the last 7 months. I have flexibility at both to a certain extent, and make sure that meetings are accounted for on both calendars. That minimizes overlapping meetings, etc.

Im a high achiever, & without killing myself, there is no easy way to be a high performer at both jobs, without sacrificing my sanity and health. I started out trying to be my normal self at both jobs & had to really work on being an "average" employee for one of the employers. Takes skill to work on thats for sure, and learn to work on the ego..lol

Biggest thing is, you always have to prioritize 1 job over the other. If you have an unavoidable conflict, you will have to prioritize job priority #1. This might result in losing 1 of the jobs, but I have found that planning for this scenario prevents major conflict.

Good luck!

@A1, which field is J2 in? You seem to be a consultant at accenture, wondering if J2 is also in consulting, tech, non-tech, etc., I'm looking to doing something similar

Got sort of an exploding offer on hand. Verbal only so far and requiring decision by Monday pretty firm. Have 3 more processes ongoing in mid-late stages and expect to wrap up probably next week. Gut feeling is I want to take the company who gave the exploding offer though. Any advice on how I can respectfully wrap up other processes/ask for extension?

I’m a very experienced veterinary assistant who has been doing this job for about 4 years in total however because of my skill level I would say I am more of an unlicensed technician. I’m looking for input on what I should ask for a raise. Given the minimum wage, I make about $5 over but that hasn’t really changed to match inflation of living, etc and truly feel like I should be making a decent amount more given my skills. Any helpful advice?

My current role is hybrid with at least two days a week in office. However, with the potential economic downturn, I'm considering holding on to the role to supplement my income.

I'm new to the overemployed movement, so I'm evaluating the feasibility of holding onto the hybrid role and the remote position.
