Hey Fishes, I was supposed to recieve a formal contract from HR on Friday. Hr had confirmed that on Thursday the contract has been drafted, earlier got a mail from the partner as well saying that the offer is secure and should not worry. I had another offer which will be revoked by evening today if I don't reply. should I worry about contract from EY? I am not sure if should mail the partner to inform about it. (he did say to let him know if I don't receive the contract within 24h on thursday).

I already got a job offer in Singapore and had submitted all the docs required to HR. My question would be how long is the EP's processing time? And what are the chances to have my EP application rejected? I have 4 years of experience at my current firm, is that too little?

Anyone else have a positive screener interview with HR, good thank-you email exchange follow-up, and then not hear anything for over a week? This doesn’t seem normal…but I’m still waiting.

Have interviews set up at FAANG co and getting good signals, for a position that was posted widely (all across US) but not remote. Haven’t broached the subject of location yet. Would you (1) early on clearly state that you’re not open to relocation but that you would be open to visiting a big office once or twice a month; (2) not say anything now and wait to get an offer and ask for an exemption; or (3) something else?

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. Which do you use (if any estate planning) and why? Recently talked with a layer on getting a will and they are trying to steer me to a trust.

Demographics for ref: 30, live in GA, unmarried, no kids, no real estate (yet, planning to buy after market cools). I don’t envision I’ll amass a ton of physical assets over my life so really just need to say where my various $ accts go (401k, pension, IRA, etc)
