Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

Work at Accenture Strategy M&A and have had a 10/10 experience. Culture is excellent, love the people I work with, leadership is supportive and M&A is a growth area at the management committee level. Cannot recommend enough. Happy to chat If you have questions. Work between the two will be very similar. Choose the people you mesh with better.
I am assuming you are not equating IT strategy with corporate strategy
For one data point, I exited from Deloitte M&A to F100 Corp Dev. My team has a couple other Deloitte people, rest are MBB, no Accenture

Have seen my colleagues leave to Corp Dev, Corp Strategy, PE Opps and Start Ups in the last year.

I would take Deloitte. Avoid ACN for strategy. WLB at either is going to be bad. So no diff there
Discount Deloitte target bonus. Also here you won’t only do strategy work and risk getting pulled into implementation, though if you try hard enough you can get it as they are short staffed. Don’t have a preference either way, I’m sure both are equal
Not strictly aligned but you have autonomy in the long run.first project could be something outside of D and there is little you can do to control that, unless you pull in your counselor or a PMD or something
