I am. But it always depends on what you like. What I’ve done is commission stuff. I’m not buying Picasso pieces, but if you like art, channel David Rockefeller—-don’t let the name fool you. Back in the ‘30s, he bought stuff for nothing in Paris by such ingenues like Picasso. For nothing then. So if you like art, if you’re not a billionaire, buy cool stuff you like from newer folks. I don’t know whether the few things I’ve bought will stand the test of time, but I like them. And that really is all that matters.

I love pottery and sculpture. I collect different pieces from places where I travel. For wall art I love photos, but have been mostly blowing up my own photos and canvas printing them.

Buy original and support local artists.

Art Forum is the best coverage of contemporary, high brow art.

Single 24 year old here. Recently joined Hinge. I am barely getting any activity. I'm a former OKCupid user and I always got something there. Do people not use Hinge or is there something wrong with me? I'm a fit average height guy and I am not ugly. Looking for LTR especially now in the time of Corona. Didn't bother with human interaction before tbh but this loneliness is creeping up. 😔

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

I have received 3 offers from 3 companies for PM role in the last week with my preferred company offering the least.

I would like to negotiate based on competing offer numbers - what are the things that I should keep in mind when doing so? Anything that I should be of? Like should or should I not share the actual offer letter? Etc?

Not sure if this matters but I have a total of 14YOE with 5 of them in a BA, Sr. BA roles. Started off as a software engineer.

Why would a luxury watch brand make/sell connected or smart watches? What is the business reason for it? To me it just kills the brand value. For instance I was a big fan of Montblanc but after I see their smart watch line up I instantly devalued the brand in general. Same for Tag (tag is questionable anyways), or Breitling. What is your opinion on this topic?

Brand new to the bowl. Looking at getting my fiancé his first nicer watch as wedding gift when we get married next year. I’m trying to stick around $7k, but would go to $10k. Is it worth getting him something now or wait until I’m willing to spend more? I know absolutely nothing about watches. Recommendations?
