I have received offer from Wipro which is little above than the offer that I am holding but fixed pay is less. Thinking of rejecting Wipro offer. Is it better to reject or accept and then not join. Ex-DDV here - if you’re able to internally move, I’d recommend EYP based on comp / prestige / exit opps. Open for questions though unless you’re looking for a current employee
Thanks! Just sent you a DM

DDV is not strategy consulting at PwC. Most of them behave like it is and bunch of “wanna be” strategy consultants who do a lot of implementation work or “assist” our Deals strategy team. As long as you are OK with that, it’s an OK practice to work with. There is enough work in this area and they keep themselves busy.
How is deal strategy different for ddv?

Deals strategy is part of Strategy&. As the name suggests DDV resources work on implementation (post DD, M&A integration strategy etc) to deliver the value that was promised/suggested by the Strategy& team. This is supposed to help us to compete with pure strategy firms. We tell our clients that we create strategy (Strategy&) and deliver value (PwC MC DDV) from it as well. Not just deliver the slideware but the actual results.
I’ve legitimately heard so much negativity about DDV on here. Is it that bad?

DDV works way more than the rest of advisory and makes the same. They don’t do any of the strategy work - all of that lives within S&. I found my interactions with them to be toxic. You might be able to sell your experience as M&A to someone in industry.
DDV here. I like it. Happy to chat.
