Hello Sharks I have attended infosys interview month before for tech: selenium/ java Test Engineer. I have cleared the technical interview and was asked to submit documents in infy portal . Done that. But today i recived email from infosys that 'your profile does not match'. Is it because i asked for 16 lpa ? Hey guys, S&O Manager at DoorDash here (~4 YOE in consulting out of UG) Couple points I'd call out:
1) DD S&O responsibilities and hours are more entrepreneurial than what we'd probably get in Google or FB Bizops.
2) DD Manager is equivalent to post-MBA associate in progression and comp (~$175k-$200k TC depending on where you come from and YOE) Associate and Sr Associate titles are more like "pre-MBA" analyst/Sr analyst
3) work is pretty interesting. I genuinely enjoyed consulting but I'd have to say that there's a well balanced blend of strategic analysis and efficient/reliable ops here at DD. Leaders come from consulting/big tech/and entrepreneurial backgrounds and I'd guess that's where the healthy balance comes from.

Comp is very very low but work seems interesting
TC was just a bit over 110k.. not terrible but a lot lower than other S&O roles that I’ve seen for 2-3 yoe
Did a call with them and the lifestyle sounded pretty awful. If it’s the ops side then you essentially run a dashmart warehouse which is pretty close to a 24/7 operation with a fair amount of turnover.
I did- team was really nice and seemed sharp. However, the comp range they shared with me was very low. Maybe they would negotiate up a lot? Idk
How long did each step in the recruiting process take?
