Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

Not personally but look up people who did an MBA and did banking prior. Lots of people transition out of finance and into corporate roles via MBA
Post MBA here. Sounds tacky, but it's chart your own path after the MBA. Have seen so many interesting and unique paths 3+ years out (even outside of finance). Completely dependent on your success at your roles, curiosity/learning/becoming good at what you do, and understanding how to tap into the MBA network which can be as powerful as you want it to be.
I've had interviews during the MBA for internships and after the MBA for my first gig for roles/companies that wouldn't have sniffed my resume before the MBA. But I networked like crazy to get in front of people. I personally found the majority of classmates get their internship and coast and just completely ignoring the networking aspect with alum who are 5+ years out. In fact, through my prior networking during school I was able to make intros to my MDs for deals (we'll see if anything actually comes from it).
