Is a smaller boutique consulting firm a career- ender? Interviewing with a smaller firm that does really interesting work. It is known among people in the industry but not as much as some of the other firms(CV, Putnam, Trinity, etc).

I am wanting to go through IVF because the genetic testing would rule out any bad surprises that could come later and also my husband and me are carriers for AMD. I am lost where to even start from. i submitted all docs in HCL in june, its august now, offer letter not released, when asked HR, she is saying that she is following up with project.

I was told to wait for some days multiple times, and now i am told to wait one week more, moreover when i asked HR this time that will i get offer letter eventually she herself sounded unsure and told to keep other opportunities open, i am not sure if the hiring is frozen or is on hold ?
