👉Just ask for it. Really, you would be surprised. Might be easier to switch to a new company and ask. I did that 3 years into my career.

And 🛑 wasting your time at a company that under-values you severely. Sometimes switching companies every 2 years or so will allow you to keep raising the bar for yourself.

Which MPLS agencies have strong account leadership?

I’ve worked at a few shops and have encountered maybe 2-3 account mgrs who worked to sell good work and protect timelines. Lots of box-checking.

I’ve been seeing all of the Instagram and Linked In posts from agencies in town showing their “commitment to transparency in hiring” and to hire more minorities in light of the BLM movement. I knew the numbers were bad, but holy shit, not THAT bad.
It’s infuriating to me, as a POC how many fucking times I applied, emailed and reached out to so many of these agencies without getting even the time of day.
I’ll believe their supposed commitments, when I actually see the results.

Is it just me or is this market in a major slump right now? Haven’t seen any notable new biz wins in town for months...if at all this year.
