I am an Audit S1 that wants to work in a B4 Forensics practice. Would it be best for me to accept an offer in Forensics at a much smaller firm (local, 150ish total employees) to gain experience and then try to move to B4 Forensics? Or should I stay in Audit and wait for B4 Forensics positions to open up? Please let me know your thoughts!

Looking for roles in smaller firms 5-500M in revenues (not public but also not classic VC series a/b startups), any thoughts on how to generate leads for those type of companies ?

The past two days I’ve spent to my entire day doing things that really can be done by a paralegal. So I hired a freelance para. Any tips to make this a success? What’s your tips to train and get your para up to speed?

If the stock market were to tank, incl. all these ridiculous tech valuations, how do you guys think compensation packages will move in competitive fields such as IBD, consulting, big tech?

Based on current environments, I’ve two hypotheses:
1. Comp packages in competitive fields will continue strongly due to: a. less supply of top talent (great resignation), b. less willingness to work demanding jobs (push for wlb), and c. Rising living costs - inflation
2. Comp packages will get readjusted…

But keep getting told by recruiters that I don't have enough experience to be a Consultant or Manager but that I have too much experience to enter in every level such as a Senior Associate.
