What keeps folks in the FDD accounting firm model (i.e., Big4, RSM, GT) versus leaving for a management consulting model (i.e., A&M, BRG)? As someone who left Big4 for the consulting firm model, I could never imagine going back (FYI - currently at BRG in Healthcare practice).

How much better is Corp Dev? I know it depends on the group/company, but I hate how accounting focused FDD is (so much about TBs, reconciliations, accounting treatment, no modeling, etc). Seems lot of corp dev groups outsource the accounting stuff to us
