Have a meeting scheduled with my boss tomorrow with no explanation. Think I’m getting fired because I’ve been making mistakes recently. I’m not handling this well and I’m feeling tempted to use. I know if I do get fired I’ll be a mess.

I’m a new associate working for a well-known defense attorney in my state. I’ve slowly started drinking less and less. And the less I’m drinking the more I realize just how much of my time revolved around alcohol. From going to get it, to drinking it to fighting hangovers. Now I realize I need something to fill all that time with. Especially now that I’m not spending all day saturday and sunday deathly hungover. I go for walks and run errands…but in a shock to me…there’s still a lot of time left. How did you start spending your time once you stopped drinking?
