I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

Got a new job offer letter. But my existing company wants to retain me with pay revision so I submitted my offer letter of new job to them. Here in Brooklyn, the bishop closed all of the meetings in Catholic Churches. Not sure if that includes the rest of NY? Anyway, some groups have set Zoom meetings, a friend is hosting a small BB study

Have a meeting scheduled with my boss tomorrow with no explanation. Think I’m getting fired because I’ve been making mistakes recently. I’m not handling this well and I’m feeling tempted to use. I know if I do get fired I’ll be a mess.

Question: Friend is starting to seek treatment, should he tell HR that he is getting treatment or keep it quiet. May want to go to inpatient at some point Trying to be supportive and give good advice.
