What's your experience working with United Way?

I have an expiring British Airways credit I need to use in January or February. Options are Lisbon, Paris, Rome and Athens. Anyone have thoughts on any of those in the winter/off season?

I'm coming from the US - my flight credit is use-it-or-lose-it so I'm trying not to spend much more than the original credit.

Can anyone explain the difference between PWC SDC, PWC AC and PWC India?

I am trying to get into PWC. here are a few things I have heard so far. Is this fairly accurate?

1. PwC AC is offshore counterpart of PwC US. Good salary. No travel opportunities. Average yearly hike ~10% Mostly technical work.
2 PwC India is a pure consulting firm. Salary better than PwC AC. client facing work. Can grow as a management consultant. Great Travel opportunities.

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now. How do you try new bikes? A car you can jump in, move the seat and drive around. A bike needs a fit(something for another post), time and it’s impossible to ride all brands to see what “feels” best. Love my local bike shop, but they only sell Trek and are obviously biased.

Can you learn to ride a bike as an adult? Where should I start?
