I had an interview in LTI for a .Net Developer position. There were 2 technical rounds and I got selected. I received an email from the recruiter to submit the documents and EAF. I had submitted the requested documents the same day. The recruiter told me that she will schedule the HR round.

I was following up with her, and after a month she messaged me on WhatsApp and said, the HR round can't be scheduled because my expected CTC is her maximum budget. Seriously 😳

Need advice on how to frame (unintentional) job hopping. In Nov. 2019, I left a job of 6 yrs to lead marketing strategy at a Start-Up. By Mar. 2020, I realized the culture was toxic. I had to leave for my mental health. Finding a new role took a while due to the pandemic, but I found a role at a digital marketing agency. It was a great team, but paid very little. I took a higher paying job this March. Turns out, my new company is unstable and about to be acquired. I am job searching again.

I have a contact who is a hiring mgr at a company I want to work for. He told me he has an open role for me and set me up with 6 interviews over a 2 week period. How do you tow the fine line between sticking up for yourself and not talking back to a partner? For context, our firm has seemingly started making a paper trail for layoffs and I disagree with some of the emails that I have received. I want to respond in a way that covers my own ass. Currently at Deloitte in Cyber (100% client facing) and just got an offer for an internal cyber role at McKinsey. Wanted to know if internal employees get the same benefits (PTO, 401k match, Grad school assistance for high performers) and if there were ever opportunities to move into 100% client facing roles for internal employees.

Doing a remote interview tomorrow for an in-house position that I really want. Invite says "[company] is a startup, so a full suit is not necessary! Business casual attire is recommended." Like I said, I really want this job, and the idea of not wearing a suit is just weird to me
