Anyone with a Citi biglaw mortgage know if we can recast our loans? Guessing not since it’s a jumbo loan but would appreciate any insight

I have not actually done it but remember being told that it could be done for a nominal charge

I was told I could recast for $250

I did this recently. In a 7-year ARM with Citi as of Jan 2025 (over $1M mortgage) and lowered interest rate in Jan 2026. I think it cost $2500 but was very easy process.

I modified my loan for a $3k fee last year.

Has anyone been the position where a recruiter submitted you to a law firm and then someone you know in the same firm (but not really well) reached out to you asking if they can submit you? This happened to me today with a V20 and I’m wondering how to navigate this.

I’ve made it 5+ years in a NY M&A practice and have consistent exceeding expectations reviews. I’ve had a few mental breakdowns because of work during this time, but thankfully made it through. I’m scared shitless that I’ll spiral out of control both at work and at home if something doesn’t change soon. Any suggestions on how to keep this job and keep it together?
