I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. All of my performance reviews have been positive and I have been the lead/only BI developer on two of our largest and most public projects this year. Any thoughts on what I could ask for at end of year reviews for a salary increase?

I'm wondering what the reason might be for an employer with less than 20 employees to not consider negotiating a job title when they themselves said they would see you as an "x" but can't change your title from "y". Thank you!

We flew back from Ireland today on Delta. Our connecting flight from JFK at 6:10 was cancelled while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and we were rebooked on a 3:40 instead (2.5 hours earlier) but not notified. I received no email, text or app notification of the flight cancellation or the new flight we were placed on, so we missed it. They now cannot get us home tonight and won’t even guarantee they can get us home tomorrow, impacting my work, (cont)…

Left a great job for higher pay. Absolutely hate the new. Has anyone gone back to their old employer? I was a very good employee, respected, and dependable. It’s only been two weeks but the new is horrendous 😩

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. Then sit here and can’t figure out why…

I’m taking a Microsoft certification course with Excel 2016. Should I opt for the 2019 version or are there few differences?

I left my job about a year ago to relocate, make sure it was the right decision and start a side business in the mean time. I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?
