Yes, and I was completely transparent with what I thought and how I felt, they told us it would be anonymous. It also said it was anonymous on the survey in print. Two days later I get a Zoom meeting invite from HR. I was like "What now?" and they said they were offended by my review. I said "Oh the review you told us was anonymous," They wrote me up and 3 weeks later I had another job. They expect us to be honest with them, we expect the same. If not, something is wrong coming from to top. I will not work for a company like that. I have too much experience and education to play like that

I would have done the exact same thing
I can't say for sure but sometimes it doesn't feel like they are. Sometimes the questions are a little too pointed to feel like they are completely anonymous. But I've never officially found out that they aren't anonymouse.
I’ve seen the manager dashboard for past employee voice surveys at my employer - it was show to us in a team meeting.
Managers get access to the set of responses for each employee in their department, but without names. If your department is small, they could likely guess who each responder is based on the questions, especially if you leave free text comments.

Kinda but I’m sure they could find out who submitted each survey if they wanted
There have been cases where anonymous surveys have not been truly anonymous. In some cases, the survey company has been able to identify respondents by their IP addresses. In other cases, the employer has been able to identify respondents by their writing style or by the content of their responses.

This is true
I agree; I stopped doing work surveys. They know you are. A coworker said he had issues after doing an anonymous survey. I don’t even do suggestion boxes. . .

I think im done with these surveys
Anonymous surveys can be pretty reliable in terms of maintaining confidentiality. However, I once participated in an anonymous survey where the organizers accidentally included a section that required us to enter our email addresses. It was a silly oversight, but it definitely made me question the anonymity of the survey. Overall, though, I think as long as you're mindful and choose trusted survey platforms, you should be in the clear!

Ya, once you need to enter anything personal-exit

Do you mean employee feedback surveys or surveys in general?
They’re not anonymous if you’re filling out via link thru email and are asked to login prior to accessing the survey
