Explain this to me? Are you saying you getting tired of only interviewing for cleared positions or are you saying you are having difficulty landing jobs with your clearance?
Have you considered working for a contractor, vs. working as a direct government hire? Contractors are actually hiring. The government really isn’t.
1st You understand you aren’t limited to just clear roles
2nd definitely agree with trying contracting can be quite lucrative
Makes a slight difference — only for reciprocity. The slight difference is that the process would take ~3-4 weeks to transfer.
You could take the subcontractor route through a staffing company. They usually are better with the response time but ofc there are downsides to it.
Not sure you really have the job if it’s been a year.
DoD and Intel move very slowly. The job is real I assure you. The timelines are just massively expanded due to the nature of the work, backlogs, polygraphs, etc.
