I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Hello Deloitte 🐠 20 YOE. Have referral for a content and marketing M role in cybersecurity -- the focus of my career pivot. Submitted my application today, but my referrer isn't in Cyber. Interested to widen my Deloitte Cyber network to get my resume in front of a human, since ATS has no vision or imagination. If you're willing to connect, please DM. So far, made it several interview rounds into roles with EY and Accenture. Optimistic, but want to be as proactive as possible. Thanks!

If they pay for your giac then get that. If not get cissp.
I just picked up a sn consulting gig at Deloitte and I haven't used my CISSP yet. You should probably go for the pmp. I'm sad :(
Deloitte isn't a technical firm. If you're in strat, identity, grc, or cloud; it's pretty much ppt, project management, and non-technical docs. If you get the CISSP you'll be pretty disappointed, as it means absolutely nothing here. Sadly :(
I think sec+ is kinda useless but you may need it, particularly for GPS. Some government systems require it. If that comes up, Deloitte can provide a training course for you to do the class. I wouldn’t go out of your way if you don’t have to
I’m in the same boat. Following!
Which practice are you in within Deloitte?
Yeah I’m in Strategy, mainly dealing with GRC. Not so much technical at this point in time
Wondering the same. If you got the Sec+ would there be a point in getting the GSEC as well?
My understanding is that Sec+ is “entry level” in terms of security certs, while CISSP and GSEC are a notch above. GSEC being the more technical and CISSP being the more managerial. I think all three have their place, and Sec+ may be a good place to start but idk if it’s useful if I’m already 2+ years into a security position

CISSP unless you plan on leaving before you get the experience for the full certification.
I would get the CISSP first
Not sure if it was clear but I was recently promoted to Senior Consultant, I’m not an experienced hire just getting started at Deloitte. I’ve been with the firm just over two years, campus hire
