Just a website. Print is dead, it annoys most directors I know. A designer can come wth a book but if they don't have a site they prolly won't get hired
Tablet (with back up laptop in my bag) because I'm crazy like that)
Tablet that has my website up. Laptop as my backup and my phone running the hotspot incase i cant get their internet from the front desk.
also you cant leave your portfolio behind if yhey want to share it and review again.
Print is good if you have lots of print work to show - doesn't read the same as on a screen. But I think that applies more to design shops, not ad agencies. Internet is an issue though, you gotta be set up to tether just in case.
@GD1 They won't want you to leave a book behind. They can go to your website for that and it'll just add to the garbage promos and stuff they get every day.
I have a website, but for in person I pull a few pieces I want to talk about and just open the jpgs in preview. I figure there's no sense using the same portfolio site they've already seen pre interview.
