I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. I’m having my annual review this week. Any advice on how to handle a) job offer b) review?

Beware a company called apnaklub currently hiring across functions. They are knockoff udaan with zero ideas who somehow managed to get some funding. They will do interviews for 1 month+ and then ghost you totally wasting your time.

I have been approached by 3 separate HR people at a startup company to interview for a position. I already have a fulltime job that pays well and I only started 6 months ago too. Anyways, the pay was intriguing and the job was a high level scientific advisor so I did interviews. At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I just spoke with a software architect that went back to school to learn software engineering after law school because it was more lucrative and had less hours. He’s worked his way up and has the skills and authority to work 6:30am-10am and gets to work remotely. We discussed that results/outputs is better than billable time like in law and public accounting. Yet, his parents and others would view him as “lazy” but he does his job and makes a fantastic living. Time>Money and Results>Hours
