A husband should always take care of his wife, and nobody should date someone they are not married to.
Definitely go on dates. Just keep them in public. I talked to my imam about this
Don’t go on dates

Lol ok
I always ask to split the check because I think it is the right thing to do. However I have almost never had a man take me up on the offer and I have had a couple look at me like I just slapped their mother. I think it depends on culture but some men are really insulted by it.
Well yeah because Islamically your role is not to work. The reason you’re a SWE is to feed your own masculine ego and to fit into the capitalistic narrative you’re being fed. No man really cares that you’re a SWE. That’s just something you chose for yourself

Depends on the context. As a man in my opinion we should pay for all dates. Woman should offer or show concern for the man’s finances in some way.
Yes , as a woman I always split the check on initial dates.
Ok but you’re not a woman let alone a partner
Male here, haven’t been on a date in 10 years 😂
My rule was:
If I asked I paid. I didn’t really care if she asked to pay or not
If she asked- we can split it, esp if I got something expensive, but she can pay if she really insists.
I think it gets trickier once you get a couple of dates in.
