U tryna work like a horse or what
lmao this made me laugh way too much than it should
The big brained contrarian move would be to go to T2.
The current exodus to MBB and the lower average (but still very high in absolute terms) level of skill relative to MBB makes it more likely that you'll make partner and partners still make $1m+.
...but partners at T2 & MBB both earn crazy salaries so if that's your goal, I'd go where you can get there the fastest.
Like, if you think you're on track, bravo.
If you're not, switching can let you hit the reset button.

I’d say it depends what your short/long term goals are.
If you’re going to leave Consulting ASAP, probably not.
If you’re going to leave Consulting sooner, it depends. You’re probably in the running for a promo at your firm at ~ 2YOE vs restarting as a BA at MBB so you’ll have to consider that into your plans.
For consulting as a longer-term gig, I’d say definitely if you can stick it out. Comp, exit ops, brand recognition, etc are definitely worth the swap but you’ll definitely see a con in WLB to counteract the pros.

Rising Star
Yes they do, offices everywhere
Rising Star
Depends on your desired career trajectory
Not necessarily, it really depends on skills and the kind of work you want to do.
In technology they struggle and for instance as our partners, they are severely lacking in their ability to understand and effectively deliver technology and operations solutions.
In corporate strategy, M&A/transactions, financial analysis and other areas, they are the top firms and offer the best options in terms of comp and exit opportunities. Their research and publication arms are second to none in the space.
