Does anyone know if this is normal? I joined a vault 100 firm in September last year. The firm put me on tier 7. In January I had the associate review and everything was normal. After a couple of weeks, I got the call from the hiring partner telling my bonus and new salary (because of the firm-wide salary increase). I realized I still get paid as a 7 year associate. They offer two options: the “traditional” course (which lasts around 2.5 months) and an extended 6-month course. Hi, weird question for this forum, so I apologize. I’m trying to be creative here and use the tv stand that I have. The issue is that it has an open back so you can see all my tv wires. I can’t hide the wires because my building won’t let me open the wall. My idea was to slip a tile sheet that is wall behind the tv stand as a back, but I need the tile cut to the specific heigh and width of the tv stand. Does anyone know where I can take this tile sheet to get cut to the specific measurements?

Currently an associate at a V30 and negotiating a partnership position at another V30. What is the correct way to maximize the pay in the negotiation as a lateral partner? I’m afraid of settling at a lower price than what they can do at the top end of the range! Do I anchor by asking for an outrageous figure or let them offer a salary figure first?
