Do you want the job? If so, stick it out.
If you don’t want the job, pull out of the application process. Stop having your time wasted.
I did but am starting to reconsider. It's not the biggest pay bump but supposedly better WLB.

Phone screens don’t count.
Longest interview process I’ve had was 7 interviews for an investment bank and got the offer. Take it as a good thing that they get group consensus before they hire. It means it’s hard to get into that place.
Unless you’d rather work somewhere you could interview 3 times and get in willy nilly? Then maybe the company isn’t the right fit for you
That is a good point regarding group consensus.

4-5 interviews beyond phone screening is typical in my experience. At consulting firms at least. Industry may be fewer.
This seems to be the MO of the interview process. I’ve been through so many of these that my mind is starting to spin. Instead of interviews, they call them “rounds” so you’re essentially having 5 or 6 interviews packaged as “3 rounds.” So stressful!
It’s fair that it’s exhausting when you’re trying interview while still employed, but I’d take this as a genuine sign of interest. If they scheduled out your interviews this way, instead of waiting for each to complete that also means they are more like to want to make a decision quickly as well.
I went through a full day of interviews, got bummed that they wanted to schedule one more, but realized that it was because they were also determining the best project to place me on based on my experience and what I stated my interests were in. I appreciated this. It gives me more opportunity to delve into the team too.
Would I rather the process be done quickly? Most times, yes, but having also interviewed through some sloppy processes, I get it.
What company is this and how long are each interviews? I’ve always hit three (phone screen, hiring manager, panel) before they decided to hire or not. This sounds exhausting. I’m sorry the process has been this long for you.
Smaller boutique consulting firm. They've been an hour for each zoom call. Like you said, it's getting exhausting and trying to fit them in while still working a normal day.

So SEI? Lol
I’m not sure they would move that fast. Everything I’ve seen is that it take 2-3 months at least with them.
There was a company that interviewed me. They had 4 rounds. And said the 4th round wasn't satisfied can we have a do over. I was like thanks but no thanks
So you had only one interview?? I think you should stick through roughly two to three actual interviews. Anything more seems a stretch. Four would be my max but that's a lot.
I see. Yeah I've had that happen to me a couple times and had to withdraw because it seemed like they were stringing me along. I hope you get sorted out.
Amazon is phone screen +6 typically 😵💫. It’s also a test to your commitment. If you’ve already taken the time to do 4 I’d stick it out to see what package they offer. Obviously if it’s the case where you’re already not digging the vibes then drop out.
